In recent seasons, the demand for warm, tactile surfaces in interiors has only intensified. Natural wood remains the benchmark, yet porcelain stoneware long ago mastered its plasticity without inheriting its temperamental behaviour in use. Italon answers this trend with the Aura collection—and does so on an ambitious scale.
Ten colours. Not ten variations of beige, but a full spectrum of wood moods—from bleached minimalist tones to aged, textured finishes carrying that unmistakable patina of lived time on their surface. Four base shades of porcelain stoneware are arranged in ascending order of expressiveness: the designer chooses the degree of wood's presence in a space, rather than simply picking a colour from a catalogue.
But Aura is not solely about wood. Italon has integrated stone mosaics—Vertigo, Streets, and Heritage—into the collection, and they function as points of visual tension on floors and walls. Alongside them sits the Argan mosaic with marble graphics, and Spectrum in two new shades, Mocha and Ocean, conceived for bathrooms and accent walls. Taken together, this assembles into a system where wood, stone, and marble do not compete but construct a shared interior narrative. A collection for those accustomed to thinking in projects, not individual surfaces.
