Taj Mahal quartzite is instantly recognisable—yet impossible to capture in a single phrase. Beige veins obey no single direction: they intertwine, recede, gather strength again. The pattern reassembles each time, like improvisation on a given theme. Coliseum transferred this unpredictable organicism to the Lirica collection—60×120 cm porcelain stoneware with a vivid, light-saturated texture entirely free of harsh contrasts. Two shades handle the original's graphics differently:
Lirica White — a creamy-beige surface where veins nearly merge with the base tone. The pattern here is sensed rather than seen—a light interweaving of lines lends the porcelain stoneware a porcelain-like depth and tactile warmth.
Lirica Grey — a grey-beige shade that reveals the quartzite's graphics in greater detail and boldness. Fine pale veins stand out distinctly against a denser ground, enriching the surface with particulars—while the visual softness of the stone remains untouched.
Lirica by Coliseum proves that monumentality need not be heavy. Behind this porcelain stoneware stands a stone of world renown, yet within an interior it behaves with discretion—filling a space with detail without raising its voice.
