Coliseum Palladio Collection: The Revival of Classic Terrazzo
The Coliseum Palladio collection revives the beauty of classic terrazzo flooring from the era of architect Palladio. Historically, terrazzo was made from fragments of natural stones and glass of various sizes, bonded with lime mortar, and was considered the most sought-after flooring among the Italian upper classes.
The collection is presented in 60x120 cm matte porcelain stoneware with two color options: Palladio White with a light base and Palladio Black with a dark base Both versions are adorned with vibrant inclusions and irregular-shaped multicolored elements featuring marble texture. The use of large-format porcelain stoneware significantly reduces installation time and allows avoiding joints between tiles.
A terrazzo interior will remain relevant for years to come, just like all works of art. Palladio porcelain stoneware is suitable for walls, floors, window sills, kitchen work areas, tables, and aprons. The material stands out for its high strength and resistance to wear, moisture, temperature fluctuations, and mechanical impacts.
